Dmitry Nevozhay Surely the best psych/stoner/prog one-man band in the world. Naturally fluid music not possible to stop to listen to... This guy is a true melody master Favorite track: A Flourishing Fall.

ellis_boyd_redding Humanotone has an ability for creating epic atmospheres and decorating it with crushing riffage and solos that few other bands can compare to. This was my favorite release of 2022 and probably my favorite release by a one-man band ever. This guy is really, really good Favorite track: Ephemeral.

huggyb34r This is a fabulous album from start to finish and an incredible achievement for a one-man band. The solo on Beyond the Machine is one of my favourite sections of music of this or any other year. Favorite track: Beyond the Machine.

Without chance, we're born. Finding quick answers to everything. At last we found ourselves drowning endless questions. Enjoying the palette that the sea give us a crack starts to appear below, against our feet We came from nowhere to feel what it's like We came from nowhere to carry a weight We want to go further but we don’t want to go home It will not last so we hold tight to this credits
2.
Ephemeral 11:00
To understand your reflection you overthink and waste the hours You hide from the light to give your life meaning instead of feeling the flowers being born Ephemeral gift Now that you understand, your days get shorter your body hurts and now it’s slower Desperation gets a new meaning You caught the flies that were unborn Ephemeral life I found my inner sun buried alive by time I hugged it, feeling numbness It burned my whole soul and then I woke up
3.
Something is wrong, inside of this. It appears suddenly. Upside down, it’s how I perceive. Maybe it’s just fatigue. If I try to stay calm and chill, everything fades out. I can’t take, take this anymore. It feels like an end. I can see what's really inside of me, when I see your smile. When I talk, I talk to the earth. She is friendly cruel. The fever is pushing an invisible war. A feeling that something will reveal itself. I can’t take, take this anymore. It feels like an end. Now I take it by the tail I’m suddenly not afraid I don’t feel fear within this dream I will fear no more I was drowning in a glass, while I had the sea on my side I was drowning in a glass A flourishing fall in a grain of sand.
4.
Between the sea and sharp infinite sands I've seen so many lives falling into eternity Beneath the marine sky and the golden eyes I've seen so many deads feeding the helpless sigh Now, they teach me how to live with myself Now, they show me how to leave it be Now. At this moment I can see what I haven’t seen Now that I tasted the scrolls for the blind the weight dissipates Now that I tasted the venom from the thorn Worn out fate bleeds to the sea
5.
Into deep waters, where all the rays get melted My mind is resting, while the universe is dying A comeback to my creation. I'm flying along and through the waves I no longer exist , between these sands there's an exit I'm getting melted, next to the souls of the seagulls I'm feeling the moment as If time didn’t exist I just belong here and I don’t care if I deserve it I just landed here, I'm going to laugh at my fears I'm getting melted, next to the souls of the seagulls I'm feeling the moment as If time didn’t exist A comeback to my creation. I'm flying along and through the waves I no longer exist , between these sands there's an exit.
6.
Even Though 12:00
You’ve been resting all this time in deep solitude. Within your own self and lost scenarios. To finally again step on your shadow. Believing that you are escaping from the sun. You've been believing in the amazing reality that fits perfectly to your old rusty chain. You’ve been looking for so long At a broken mirror that reflects seas of disease and dull your stars I’ve looked for a right quick way out And I without wanting to find Now I see everything clear Even though I’m falling apart While sand endlessly sleeps you're draining your seaweed A miracle suspended in time Now take a deep breath How could this happen to you? You were made of stone A wave fills up your lungs Delight comes and goes. I’ve looked for a right quick way out And I without wanting to find Now I see everything clear Even though I’m falling apart It's fading away, the calm that drives the day. Everydayness and fear Consumes me again. Don’t fight against the illusory veil. Don’t miss yourself in lies and muddy thoughts. “It shouldn’t be that way” A beautiful complaint The perennial fount is about to bloom. I’ve looked for a right quick way out And I without wanting to find Now I see everything clear Even though I’m falling apart.

about

A Flourishing Fall in a Grain of Sand is a collection of ideas that emerged between 2017 and 2019.

In October 2020, after finishing the Sunvher album (sunvher.bandcamp.com/album/sunvher), I went back to listen to the material and began to land the compositions. Finally at the beginning of the year 2021, I finished the definitive structures and arrangements.

All the songs were inspired by the sea and are a way of thanking the healing power it had on me during rough times.

Dedicated to all the people who have been lost to themselves, and also to those who have lost their battle.

Recorded between May and October of 2021.
Mixed & mastered between November and December of 2021.
